Spas and HEALTH RESORTS

Natural conditions, climates and the healing properties of the mineral water in several places in Slovakia are suitable for a medical treatment – so were in Slovakia several spas and climatic health resorts developed.

Climatotherapy in low or high mountain areas, based on the long-term scientific studies, use for treatment 7 climatic health resorts.  Other spas use for treatment healing water.

Slovak Balneology with its quality of complex services is clearly one of the most developed "health resort" countries in Europe.

Many spas now offer not only cures but also short wellness and relaxation stays.
